Eternal Icons" fulfils a desire to expand my repertoire beyond figurative art into the intricate world of portraiture.

This first collection sees me explore the beauty and grace of two of the worlds' most cherished female icons; Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.

Delicate and refined details rest at the focus of these pieces. While energetic and striking brush strokes, 24ct gold leaf embellishments and a raw, linen back drop, frame and ignite emotion in each piece.

As seen above, all original artworks are framed with a double black and white slip, to further enhance the overall impact of the piece.

Born and bred in the West Midlands, Richard has always aspired to be creative. Predominantly an oil painter, Richard paints in a traditional manner. However, inspiration from film, music and the world around him help form the backbone of his compositions. Obsessed with trying to make a painting tell a story, Richard uses fashion and props from bygone eras to help create his tales of love, life and mystery.

Returns

We offer store credit if the gallery is notified within 14 days of receiving the artwork, and the artwork being returned within 14days after in the same condition it was sent in, unless otherwise agreed with the gallery.
