Pure Evil explains that a chance email from a Chinese “copy village” gave impetus to his “Nightmare Series.” The village offered, via email, a list of artists it could reproduce, and included 3 lo-res images from each famous artist they could reproduce. Andy Warhol’s entire lifetime's artistic output had been edited down to three small 64 x64 pixel thumbnails of Jackie Kennedy, Liz Taylor and an Electric Chair. The 2 portraits still looked fabulous as tiny jpegs, and they became the inspiration for these doomed and dripping celebrity portraits. Returns

We offer store credit if the gallery is notified within 14 days of receiving the artwork, and the artwork being returned within 14 days after in the same condition it was sent in, unless otherwise agreed with the gallery.
